I'm hopeless at remembering what to bring.
So I built TrailMate 4WD — a mate that remembers the gear, the rig prep, the food, the fuel and the little jobs before every trip.

I kept leaving stuff behind
Every trip I'd get to camp and realise I'd forgotten something important — the camp chair, the ice for the esky, the fishing knife, or the bloody tent pegs. It drove me nuts.
The rig needed more love than I gave it
I'd mean to service the catch can, grease the tail shaft and check the MAP sensor, but life gets busy. Out of sight, out of mind — until you're 500km from the nearest mechanic.
Fishing prep was a mental load
Different trips need different gear. River cod, beach salmon, reef snapper — each needs its own tackle, bait and licences. I was always halfway there before I remembered what I'd missed.
No single place for the plan
Trip notes were scattered across messages, screenshots and a notepad. Fuel stops, camp bookings, tyre pressures and budgets lived in five different apps. I wanted one place that just worked.

TrailMate 4WD started as a checklist on my phone. Now it's a full trip planner, vehicle garage, maintenance tracker and fuel calculator — made for Aussie 4WDers who love the bush but hate forgetting stuff.
