Help & support
Real people, no call centre. Email us and we will get back to you — usually within two business days, and always within five.
Contact
TrailMate 4WD · Western Australia. Include your account email and, if you are reporting a bug, the page you were on and what you expected to happen.
In an emergency
Do not contact support. Call 000 (or 112 from a mobile), or activate your PLB or satellite communicator. TrailMate 4WD is not an emergency service and cannot see your location.
Common questions
I signed up but cannot sign in
Every new account gets a verification email. Open the link in that email first, then sign in with the same address. Check your junk or promotions folder, and add our address to your contacts. Still stuck after 15 minutes? Email us and we will verify the account manually.
I forgot my password
Use the sign-in screen to request a reset email. Reset links are single use and expire, so request a fresh one if it has been sitting in your inbox for a while.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open the account menu, go to Profile, then Subscription, and cancel there. Cancelling stops future billing and Pro access ends immediately — your trips, rigs and checklists stay saved, but anything over the free limits becomes read-only.
Can I get a refund?
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law always apply — if the service fails to meet a consumer guarantee you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. For any other refund request, email us with your account address and the charge date.
How do I get a copy of my data, or delete my account?
Email us from your account address and tell us whether you want an export, a correction, or full deletion. We respond within 30 days. Deletion removes your trips, rigs, checklists, photos and spot entries.
Something in the app looks wrong or unsafe
Estimates in TrailMate 4WD are guidance only. If a fuel range, service interval or spot description looks wrong, report it and we will review it. Never rely on the app alone in remote country.
How do I report a public spot, photo or review?
Email us the spot name and what the problem is — inaccurate directions, private land, offensive content, or someone else's photo. We review reports and can remove or unpublish content.
Does TrailMate 4WD book campsites or permits?
No. We are a planning tool only. Bookings, permits and park passes are always arranged directly with the land manager or campground operator.
